  Very poor customer service. Waited a while at the clothes desk with a number of staff walking past and not saying anything. Eventually caught the eye of a member of staff working on the clothes section and she just said nobody's on the clothes desk today. I asked her to check stock of a pair of tights I needed for my daughter and she just repeated there's nobody on the clothes desk today...so I walked out. At the end of the day when staff don't care and there are a number of competitive supermarkets in Leigh then they will lose customers. Asda are no longer the cheapest and customer service is not good enough to retain customers.

  This is regarding the pharmacy staff. I went in rather poorly looking for the best medicine, I wasn't convinced by what I was offered but I was assured it was the right thing for me. After a long painful 18 hours the medicine still had had absolutely no effect and so i returned and was told i had not taken enough!!?? I bought my original choice and straight away felt much better. Clearly staff are not trained enough to offer advice on medicines they are selling. I would advise going to an independent pharmacy for advice. I do like the asda store though.
